Blepharoplasty – Eyelids
Age, smoking, environmental conditions, stress. Each of these factors will have an effect on the area around your eyes. The result is a saggy appearance on the upper and lower eyelids. On the upper eyelids, a small flap could begin to fold over the eyelashes, making it difficult to apply makeup. The lower eyelids may look puffy on the fatty patches, thus emitting that “constantly tired” look.
With this procedure a patient’s eyes will appear refreshed, rejuvenated and most importantly, have a more vibrant, youthful appearance. Men generally have more puffiness on the lower eyelid, although this is an occurrence experienced with both genders.
After care is surprisingly easy. Tylenol should suffice for the pain and the stitches will disappear within 7 days, as will any bruising and swelling. One weeks rest is recommended, after which eye makeup could then be applied.
